Four friends, composed of two boys and two girls, went out to enjoy the summers’ warmth. They stayed at a place near a lake. They had so much fun, giggles and laughs were heard all over the place. Two of them are a couple, Kristof and Chloe. They’re an intimate sight. They’ve been displaying affection for each other since they arrived at the lake. Both of them have been necking and petting, ignoring the other two. Walden looked at them with evil eyes while Absydee keeps on pigging out.

They were complete except for Walden one Saturday night and he pointed out homework as a reason. The three had fun, drinking and dancing to the beat. Meanwhile, Walden was writing a letter in his room. It’s not for school but for Chloe. He folded it kept it inside the picture frame Chloe gave him and tears fall down while a sleeping pill went down his throat.
The sun rose, the three were waken up by the sun despite of their hangovers. Walden’s body was contrasting the warmth of the sun’s rays. Not a movement was seen from the body in the bed.
Chloe got a call while drinking coffee to get rid of her hangover. Suddenly, the cup slipped off her hand. She stood still, shocked from the news she got over the phone.
When the burial came, tears flowed and cries echoed. The three visited Walden’s mom three days after the burial. She brought out a box as soon as the three arrived. She found it while cleaning her son’s room. The box contained letters, letters for Chloe. And as they read the letters, Chloe’s heart was filled with guilt.
Suddenly, the picture frame fell causing it to break and expose the letter Walden wrote. Chloe picked the letter away from the broken glass and carefully unfolded it. While her tears continue to flow, she reads:
“I see you’re happy with him. I hope what you have with him lasts forever. I’m ashamed, for being unable to tell you my feelings. I guess I was too afraid with what you might say. But I’m still glad. And for the very last time my pen and paper have spoken for me because I can’t speak before you. I lov…”
